Welcome to the fledgling PIAPTK off-shoot, The IVL.This is a
place where we can offer limited releases that don't fit with
the "style" of our usual releases. While my main musical
interest is indie folk/pop, the rivers of my taste run deep. In
order to avoid "diversifying our catalog" too badly,
we are launching this subsidiary. This will be a place to offer
up lathe cut vinyl, cd-rs, cassettes, and whatever else that we
happen to throw down the pipe. You can, of course, combine shipping
with PIAPTK releases.

Note on Cost of Lathe
Cuts - I know these are expensive. They are really
fun to do, but are ridiculously expensive to make when you figure
the
production, labels, and shipping costs from New Zealand, wire
transfer fees and the totally weak US dollar in relation to the
world market. My general pricing policy on these is to price them
just high enough to pay for the costs of the copies that I give
to the bands and the few that I keep for my archives. There is
NO profit margin on them, and I often lose money on the run. But
I really love making them, plan to continue doing so, and really
hope you enjoy listening to them!

This album was recorded in a janitors closet in West
Texas in 2003. 4 indie rockers and a metalhead, tired of the
fact that the teenagers at the shows they were throwing only
wanted to hear hardcore (and lacking the desire to play hardcore)
decided to create the most cliched tongue and cheek garage
band imaginable to see if the hardcore kids responded. They
set their crotches on fire, got in on-stage brawls, and drank
a lot during 20 minute guitar solos. Download
